An old and cancer stricken Babe Ruth can be seen on the left, a cigar in hand as he prepares to meet a young George H.W. Bush. The former president, then Yale University’s baseball team captain, can be seen on the right as he receives an original manuscript of Ruth’s autobiography on behalf of his school. This black and white photograph is autographed by President George H.W. Bush himself in bold black ink. This photograph stands 11 x 14 inches and is unframed. This item has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and comes with a LOA (A07581).
