One of the University of Michigan’s most famous alums was the 38th President of the United States Gerald Ford. Ford played for the Wolverines’ football team from 1932-34 where he played center, linebacker and long snapper. Ford was a part of the undefeated teams of 1932 and 1933 that won back-to-back national titles. Presented here is a Michigan Wolverines mini helmet signed by Gerald Ford. This classic Michigan mini helmet has the traditional maize and blue colors with the classic winged design. Ford signed his name in green marker on the front of the yellow portion of the wing, above and just to the left of the RIDDELL padding that holds the screws mounting the front of the navy facemask. The signature is bold, and the mini helmet is in pristine condition and comes in the original box. A wonderful signing from a former president who was a great player at Michigan. This comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication.
