The 1999 Florida Seminoles were undefeated in 16 games and was the first team in the history of the NCAA to be ranked "wire-to-wire" number one from pre-season through the Sugar Bowl. Redshirt freshman Greg Moore played in 9 of those games. In recognition of that historic season the rings presented to Moore and the other Seminoles players are considered the most beautiful and opulent of all College Championship rings. This massive ring, made prior to the NCAA ruling banning precious metals employed in championship rings, is solid 10K gold and weights 58 grams. The top of the size 10 1/2 ring features a field of CZ's surrounding the 1999 championship trophy, all surrounded by "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS" in raised letters. The left shank has "MOORE" in raised letters arched above the red, black and white Seminole logo and WR 19" is embossed below. The opposite shank proclaims "FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES" and "TEAM OF THE 90's" and their "12-0" record above "WIRE 2 WIRE". The ring is housed in the original wooden presentation box with a personalized gold plaque inside. Ring comes with copies of its appraisals and an LOA from TJ's Collectibles.
