The late Hector “Macho” Camacho was known for his extravagant and vivacious style and self-promotion, but don’t be fooled, his style and mouth were backed up by his acumen in the ring. Camacho, was a world champion in three different weight classes, held the WBC super featherweight title from 1983-1984, the WBC lightweight title from 1985 to 1987, and the WBO junior welterweight title twice between 1989 and 1992. The southpaw from Puerto Rico boasted a record of 79 wins with 6 losses and three draws, with 38 wins by knockout during his almost 30-year career in the ring. Presented here is a blue zip-up jacket was personally owned and worn by Hector “Macho” Camacho and features a “RENE’S DYNAMIC SHO TO KAN KARATE ACADEMY” patch on the left chest of the jacket. “Hector Camacho ‘MACHO MAN’” is embroidered in white on the right chest of the jacket. A “Team advantage” manufacturer’s tag with a faded size flag appears on the inside collar. “WORLD CHAMPION” appears across the back of the jacket with five gold stars in embroidered gold. The jacket features wear on the cuffs of the sleeves. The personally owned “Macho Man” and “World Champion” jacket worn by the late Hector “Macho” Camacho comes directly from one of Camacho’s former managers with a corresponding letter of provenance that will be included.
