Not only was Hector “Macho” Camacho a formidable boxer in the ring known for his flamboyant style, but that style extended to his cornermen as well. This presented silver jacket was worn by Camacho’s cornermen when he faced off for the second time against Roberto Duran on July 14th, 2001 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. It was the second meeting between these two light welterweights, with Camacho winning both fights by points, and would be rewarded the Super Middleweight Championship after the victory. This presented silver with black accents three-quarters zipper jacket features “MACHO TIME” across the chest in black tackle twill on a white and red metallic background. The front pockets of the jacket feature metallic silver trim. “CAMACHO” appears across the back of the jacket in black tackle twill on a metallic red and white fabric. The jacket is in excellent condition and comes directly from one of Camacho’s former managers with a corresponding letter of provenance that will be included.
