The World Champion Cardinals represented on this outstanding ball include Hall of Famer Stan Musial, Manager Billy Southworth and Emil Verban are on the sweet spot, Mort Cooper, Walker Cooper, Marty Marion (NL MVP), Pepper Martin, Harry Walker, Max Lanier, Deb Garms, Ted Wilks, Harry Breechen and others. It’s a complete team ball of the Club that beat their inner-city rivals, the St. Louis Browns, four games to two, in this wartime World Series.
