Presented here is a lithograph of famed Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay. Tarkay and his family were victims during WWII and were sent to a concentration camp until they were liberated by the Allies. Tarkay’s art is based off of French impressionism and post impressionism, which features images of women in classical and obscure sceneries.
This piece is titled Indigo Chapeau and features a woman in an orange and indigo flowered dress. Tarkay’s signature can be found on the lower right corner of this piece in grey ink. This piece stands 28 x 27 inches and is unframed. Included with this piece is a COA by Park West Gallery.
