Jackie Robinson 70th anniversary auction to benefit JRF ending April 29
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2017
This approximately 13 inch tall composition doll of Jackie Robinson appears to have been manufactured by Allied Grand circa 1950. It has a socket head, jointed arms and legs, brown painted complexion, side-glancing eyes and semi-closed mouth with a row of teeth. Hat has faded somewhat while Robinson’s # 42 is still affixed to the back of the uniform. A great opportunity to acquire a scarce, vintage portrait of the man who helped change American’s pastime forever.
