     Presented here is Jackie Robinson’s retired number wooden jersey from Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1997, Robinson’s #42 was retired league wide, and displays like this were hung in every stadium in the Major Leagues. This example is in the shape of a baseball, and features Robinson’s number 42 in striking Dodger blue. This wooden jersey was displayed in Riverfront Stadium from 1997 to 2002, when it was removed after the MLB season due to the stadium’s closing. This large wooden jersey measures 47 inches in diameter and comes with a LOA from the Cincinnati Reds.
