Jackie Robinson has signed this copy of his autobiography, I Never Had It Made. This book was released on October 28th, 1972, four days after Robinson passed away at the young age of 53. Robinson signed the cover page of this book, which was likely manufactured and given to Robinson before his tragic death and the book’s official release, in blue pen. The Hall of Famer inscribed “Best Wishes” above his signature. This hardcover book, which was written by Robinson’s longtime collaborator Alfred Duckett, comes with a LOA from JSA for the signature.
