The Hall of Fame second baseman and pioneering trail blazer Jackie Robinson has signed this pink album page. Robinson played 10 seasons in the Major Leagues, debuting in 1947 and claiming the 1949 National League MVP after putting up a Triple Crown slash line of .342/16/124 with a MLB-best 37 stolen bases. Robinson was named to six National League All-Star teams, and in 1962 the former UCLA Bruin was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. This album page features Jackie Robinson’s blue pen signature and the inscription “Best Wishes”. Written in an unknown hand near the bottom of the page is “Jackie Robinson” and “June 5, 1962”, dating this signature to approximately a month before Robinson’s Hall of Fame induction. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z80421).
