Offered in this lot is a jersey and helmet worn by San Diego Chargers center Jason Ball. Ball played for the Chargers from 2002 through 2004, earning a spot on the 2002 NFL All-Rookie Team after second-year tailback LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for an astronomical 1,683 yards and 14 touchdowns. This offered Chargers jersey is powder blue, with Ball’s number “60” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white and yellow tackle twill. “BALL” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching powder blue nameplate. Reebok logo patches are sewn on both sleeves, while yellow and blue tackle twill lightning bolts are sewn on the white section of the shoulders. The jersey features a crotch strap and an “02-54” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar. Ball has signed the “6” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the game use and Ball’s signature comes with a COA from JSA.

Also included in this lot is Ball’s white Chargers’ Riddell helmet. This white helmet has the Chargers’ lightning bolt logo decals affixed to each side, along with Ball’s number “60” in black. The facemask is gray with four bars. The back has “CHARGERS” in blue on a white border backing with the NFL shield logo affixed to the left and an American flag decal affixed to the right. This helmet displays outstanding game use with black ink transfers and other abrasion marks. Ball has signed his helmet in silver marker and inscribed “#60”. This comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the use.
