Offered here is a lot of Olympic clothing owned by Hall of Fame basketball player and coach and “Original Bull” Jerry Sloan. Sloan played 11 seasons in the NBA before spending 30 years as a coach, with David Stern referring to Sloan as “One of the greatest and most respected coaches in NBA history.” Sloan served as an assistant coach on the “Dream Team II” that won gold in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. The items offered come from his time as a coach on that team, as well as from his days as a coach for the Evansville Thunder of the CBA and as a player for the Chicago Bulls of the NBA.

There is a green handbag with "Centennial Olympic Games Les Feua Olympiques du Centenaire" in French and is embroidered in gold on the handbag's side. The front of the handbag features the Olympic rings with a flame and "100 Atlanta 1996" in gold embroidery. There is a cream Panama hat with a red ribbon around the hat's crown and a Champion "Official Outfitter Of The U.S. Olympic Team Atlanta 1996 Olympic Summer Games" manufacturing tag with a size "Small/Medium" flag located on the inside of the hat. The pair of cream slacks have an "Official Outfitter Of The U.S. Olympic Team Atlanta 1996 Olympic Summer Games" manufacturing tag with a size "36" flag attached on the inside waist. "USA 1996 U.S. Olympic Team" is embroidered in red and blue with the Olympic ring symbol in blue, black, red, yellow, and green on the left breast of the white robe. A Cannon "U.S. Olympic Team Official Licensed Product" manufacturer's tag is located on the inside of the robe. The red tie features white stars and images of athletes engaged in various sports in gold and blue comes with a Champion "Official Outfitter Of The U.S. Olympic Team Atlanta 1996 Olympic Summer Games" manufacturing tag on the inside of the tie. The white, size "X-Large" t-shirt comes with the "Champion" logo embroidered in gold on the right breast, with the "USA 1996 Olympic Team" logo embroidered in gold on the left breast. A Champion manufacturing tag appears on the inside collar of the t-shirt. There is a yellow stain above the "Champion" embroidery.

Next is a white polo shirt with red and navy stripes and the "USA Basketball" logo on the left breast in navy, red, and white tackle twill comes with "USA Official Licensed Product" and "Antigua" retail tags attached and is size "XL." A red button-up Bulls warm-up jacket comes with a "BULLS" screen-printed in white on the left breast. A Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively For The Chicago Bulls" manufacturing tag is located on the jackets inside collar. Sloan was nicknamed "The Original Bull" and was the first player to have his number retired by the team. The jacket displays some black marks along the sleeves and cuffs. The maroon Evansville Thunder of the CBA button-up sport jacket comes with two gold buttons on the jacket's front with three gold buttons on the cuffs. The Evansville Thunder logo is located on the left breast and is in white and gold tackle twill. Sloan was named the coach of the Thunder in 1984 but never coached a game, instead taking an assistant coach position with the Utah Jazz. The two-button navy sport coat features the Olympic symbol in gold on smokey opaque buttons on the front and the sleeves, and the "USA 1996 Olympic Team" logo is embroidered in gold and red on the left breast of the jacket. All of the items in this collection come with an LOA from the family of Jerry Sloan.
