A tremendous and well-rounded athlete, the sprint and long jump specialist even joined the baseball Negro Leagues' Kansas City Monarchs soon after he returned from Berlin! The offered 5 x 8-inch blank-backed Lincoln-Mercury sports panel member photograph bears a neat and bold black signature of this great Olympian. Owens, a 1983 Olympic Hall of Fame inductee, passed away in 1980.
