Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page signed this Epiphone Les Paul guitar. Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in rock and roll history, Page’s power chords and innovative techniques practically invented modern metal and hard rock music. Solos of his, such as those in “Stairway to Heaven” or “Kashmir” are instantly recognizable still, 40 years after the prime days of Led Zeppelin. Page also earned fame as a session guitarist in the early 1960’s, playing for bands such as the Beatles and the Who. Later, he replaced Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds.

     This Epiphone Les Paul guitar is cherry red, with an orange sunburst design on the body. The head is black, with silver knobs. Page signed the pick guard in black marker, adding the inscription “Keep on Rockin’…” This guitar comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A03270), who notes that there are indications a personalization has been removed.
