John Havlicek was one of the foundational members of the Boston Celtics dynasty, a star shooting guard from the Ohio State University. Havlicek was a part of eight NBA championship teams, winning Finals MVP in 1973-74. A member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 1984, “Hondo” is still a revered figure in Boston.
The first item in this lot is a Spalding basketball signed in black marker by Havlicek. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B53044). The second item is an 8 x 10 inch color photograph of Havlicek shooting a layup against the Detroit Pistons. Havlicek signed this photograph in gold pen.
