Johnny Unitas has signed this blue mesh Baltimore Colts home jersey. Unitas starred for the Colts from 1956 through 1972 and was one of the first great prolific passers in the modern NFL. Unitas led the NFL in both passing yards and touchdowns four times and led the Colts to three NFL titles and one Super Bowl championship. Unitas retired in 1973 after spending his final NFL season with the Los Angeles Rams, and the former Louisville star was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979. Unitas has signed the white “1” digit screen-printed on the back of this jersey in black marker. He inscribed “M.V.P. 1959” in addition to his signature.
