Ace pitcher Justin Verlander wore these two Detroit Tigers items before his move to the Houston Astros in 2017. The first item is a Majestic ThermaBase size XL navy hooded sweatshirt that has “DETROIT” printed in white and “TIGERS” printed in orange with the Olde English “D” printed in white on the right. “MLB AUTHENTIC COLLECTION” is printed in smaller letters below the “TIGERS” print. The front has one central pocket and the hood has a white drawstring. The Majestic tag is screen-printed on the inside back collar with “35” handwritten in black marker on the tag.

The second item is a lightweight short sleeve navy Majestic Cool Base jacket pullover. There is a 1/3 length zipper on the front with an orange pull down. The Olde English “D” is sewn on in orange on navy tackle twill on the upper left chest. The back has the MLB logo patch in navy, white and orange on the top. A “35” patch is sewn on the inside back collar and the Majestic tag is screen-printed below. A “JSG” inscription on the tag was placed in black marker by Tigers clubhouse manager Jim Schmakel, to verify that the piece was worn by Verlander. These items come with a LOA from MEARS for the use.
