The Hall of Fame centerfielder Ken Griffey Jr. has signed this 1989 Seattle Mariners Mitchell & Ness home jersey. Griffey was one of the most heralded rookies of his era, the son of a former MLB star from the same small Pennsylvania burg as Stan Musial. “The Kid” was an instant success for the Mariners, slashing .264/16/61 as a 19-year old before embarking on a string of 11 straight seasons with an All-Star selection. Griffey retired after the 2010 season, and in 2016 was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame with a record 99.3% of the vote. Griffey has signed the “4” digit on the front of this white, button-down jersey in silver marker. This size “L” jersey is a limited edition 17 of 240, and it is accompanied by a COA from Upper Deck (BAF49199).
