The legendary Notre Dame Fighting Irish football coach Knute Rockne is a foundational figure in the history of American football. An innovator, master strategist, and consummate winner, Rockne compiled a record of 105-12-5 while coaching Notre Dame to three national titles. Tragically, Rockne perished in an aviation accident in 1931 at the age of 43 while still coaching the Fighting Irish. Offered here is a matted 5 x 7-inch photograph of Rockne signed by the Norwegian College Football Hall of Famer in black steel-tip fountain pen. Rockne inscribed “Sincerely” above his classic signature. This item is matted to the dimensions of 9 x 11 inches. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (X74807).
