Legendary Notre Dame coach Knute Rockne has signed this cut in black pen. Rockne, a star at Notre Dame in the early 1910’s, coached the Fighting Irish football team for 13 seasons, leading them to a record of 105 wins against only 12 losses. The Fighting Irish won three national titles under Rockne, as well as the 1925 Rose Bowl. This cut is the bottom of a letter from Rockne to an unknown recipient. The bottom line of text on this portion of the letter reads “I hope to see you sometime this winter and regards to the family.” This cut has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83812204).
