Longtime NBA star Lamar Odom wore this Rhode Island Rams jersey during the 1998-99 NCAA Basketball season, his only year playing for the Rams. Odom was the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year in 1998-99, leading the Rams to their first A-10 Tournament title with a buzzer-beating three against Temple. Odom averaged 17.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for the Rams before the Los Angeles Clippers selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft.
This white jersey is encased in a 29 x 44 inch display with the back of the jersey presented to the viewer. “ODOM” is applied to the back shoulders in navy lettering, while his number “5” is applied below in light blue and navy. Odom has signed the “5” digit on this jersey in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and a Letter of Provenance from the star of the television show Storage Wars, Rene Nezhoda, who purchased Odom’s storage locker.
