Presented here is an Official American League William Harridge stamped baseball that was signed by 22 former Boston Red Sox Hall of Famers and greats from a late 1950’s Old Timers Day. Hall of Famer Ted Williams and Mike “Pinky” Higgins, who was the manager of the Red Sox from 1955-59 and again from 1960-1962 have signed their names across the sweet spot. The north panel has signatures of Frank Malzone, Hall of Famers Joe Cronin, Lefty Grove and Jimmy Foxx, along with Johnny Pesky. The west panel with the Reach stamp has Hall of Famer George Kell, Tom Brewer, Dave “Boo” Ferris and Hal Wagner.

The south panel has the signatures of Jim Piersall, Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr, Vern Stephens, Ellis Kinder and Dom DiMaggio, while the east panel has the signatures of Mel Parnell, Earl Johnson, Joe Vosmik, Tom Oliver, an unidentified signature and Rudy York. This ball has been signed in varying colors of blue pen and are relatively strong. The stampings are light, but still readable and this ball originates from the personal collection of former Boston Red Sox pitcher Dave “Boo” Ferris and a LOA from Ferris will accompany this ball. Additionally, there is a LOA from JSA for the signatures.
