Presented is an Official National League A. Bartlett Giamatti baseball autographed by Leo Durocher. Nicknamed “Lippy”, Durocher played as a shortstop in the Major Leagues and was a three-time All-Star. It would be Lippy’s managerial career however, in which he would become most remembered for. As a manager he would win 2,009 games, and would rank 5th in all time managers, second in National League history. Today he is still within the top 10 of career wins by a manager. Durocher managed the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Chicago Cubs and the Houston Astros. This ball is autographed by Lippy in blue pen across the sweet spot and the ball is in good condition with only some slight toning stains on the sweet spot panel that does not affect the signature. This signed baseball comes with a COA from Finest Sports Collectibles (026610). Please note that this lot has a 25% Buyer’s Premium.
