Lloyd "Little Poison" Waner joined older brother Paul with the Pittsburg Pirates in 1927. He helped lead the Bucs to the World Series where they were defeated by the legendary 1927 New York Yankees. Waner has penned a nearly flawless black signature on the sweet spot of this Spalding Little League baseball. This ball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A04805) and a LOA from PSA/DNA (H56532). Beckett has correctly awarded the signature a Gem Mint 10, while PSA/DNA took the more conservative route and deemed it a 9. One of the finest - if not the finest - Lloyd Waner single-signed balls in the entire hobby! Waner, a 1967 Hall of Fame inductee, passed away in 1982.
