Graded MINT 9 by BGS, with autograph graded “10” by BGS. Offered here is a Panini Campeonato Brasileiro card featuring a squad photo of the 1999 Gremio team that claimed that year’s Copa Sul and Rio Grande Do Sul State Championships. The most notable player pictured is Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, who can be seen in the bottom left of the photograph in a rookie card appearance. Ronaldinho, still an 18-year old teenager, scored 22 goals in 47 appearances during his first season with Gremio. The skillful forward would become a global star after his transfers to Paris Saint-Germain in 2001 and Barcelona in 2003. The 2005 Ballon d’Or winner contributes a brilliant black-ink signature to the piece, complete with an “R10” underneath it, a nod to his first initial and his uniform number. The card’s BGS condition report: Centering: 9.5, Corners: 8.5, Edges: 9.5, Surface: 9.5. Mint condition.
