A collection of 68 mostly different T206 White Border tobacco insert baseball cards is presented. Sixteen cards have been graded by SGC. This specialized array focuses on personnel associated with the Chicago A.L. and N.L. franchises. Both squads were high-powered groups, accounting (between them) for a total of four World Series Championships in the decade leading up to the release of T206. This enticing gallery holds SGC-graded examples of Hall of Famers Tinker, Evers, Chance, Walsh, Duffy and Brown (some in multiple depictions). One card, picturing Jimmy Slagle and captioned "Baltimore," reveals the player on the down-side of his career. (He was a member of the Cubs during the club's 1907 and '08 W.S. triumphs.) A significant group, boasting captivating, colorful illustrations, the collection generally grades about FR to VG/EX with a few lesser and a small number trimmed.
