The New York Islanders became the first American Team to win three consecutive Stanley Cup titles, earning their third straight in 1982. This exact ring was awarded to scout Harry Boyd to commemorate the third of the New York Islanders' four straight championships, and is identical to rings the players received. The size 11/30 gram 10K gold ring is adorned with three diamonds in the center representing the team's three titles to that point, and surrounding words in raised lettering read "1982 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS." Right shank bears the name “BOYD” with the team logo below. Opposite shank has three of Lord Stanley’s Cups, each etched with the year of their three Cup titles, with "ISLANDERS" above and "PRINCE OF WALES CHAMPIONS" below. Stamped inside The "BALFOUR 10K"and insignia is stamped within the band in addition to "FIRST AMERICAN TEAM" with three Stanley Cup symbols after this wording. Near Mint condition.
