When he was first promoted to the major leagues during his rookie 2008 season, Clayton Kershaw wore number 54, but switched to number 22 during that first season. His career has skyrocketed and Kershaw is widely recognized as the best pitcher in the game today, winning the two of the last three National League Cy Young awards. This button down gray road jersey has “Los Angeles” across the chest, the red number “22” below, the “Majestic Authentic Size 50” patch on the lower front tail with “PROPERTY OF THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS 2008” white tag stitched below. The reverse has the name “KERSHAW” and his number “22” below, both stitched directly on in blue tackle twill, and the Los Angeles 50th Anniversary patch on the left shoulder. Inside the jersey is a “50” size tag with the code “0063R.” LOA from noted sports jersey expert, Dave Miedema.
