A tremendous gathering, holding more than 2,900 cards representing a variety of manufacturers and several sports, is presented. The exciting gallery's multi-decade span includes pieces from the 1920s-1930s (for example, large-size gum card premiums), as well as plenty of superstars from the 1950s-1960s and into the 1970s. Babe Ruth's punch-out card appears on the front cover of a 1961 Golden Press book that also features such stars as Cy Young, Honus Wagner and Walter Johnson. Just a few of the hoard's big names: Mike Ditka, Tom Seaver, Frank Robinson, Tom Heinsohn, Whitey Ford, Pee Wee Reese, Ed Mathews, Willie Stargell and Joe Black. Condition range is primarily VG to EX/MT with, in particular, some of the newer items nicer and older pieces lesser.
