A gratifying and inspiring smile from the legendary Lou Gehrig is the hallmark of this ever-popular '34 Goudey entry, and the sight carries exceptional aplomb on this moderately circulated example. The offered card – which boasts superb color in its likeness of the fabled Yankee – reveals inoffensive degrees of surface and corner wear. Spots of toning or "attic dusting" at the top-right corner pose minimal distraction, and a few small, stray marks on the card's reverse do not impair legibility. Very Good condition.
