Graded NM+ 7.5 by BGS. Former NFL running back Ronnie Brown shines on this Donruss Certified Materials collectible. Brown was the catalyst for the NFL’s fascination with the Wildcat offense in the late 2000’s - his Miami Dolphins team heavily utilized the former Auburn Tiger in a series of plays that involved him receiving a direct snap from the center, with the option of running, passing, or handing the ball off to a teammate. The formation took the league by storm in 2008, and its implementation by the Dolphins helped Brown achieve his only selection to a Pro Bowl in that same year. This card features an NFL Shield patch from a game-worn jersey used by Brown. A statement on the card’s back by Donruss attests to the authenticity of the patch component, and serves as the item’s COA. This unique piece is serial-numbered “1/1.” The card’s BGS condition report: Centering: 10, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9, Surface: 6.5. Near Mint-plus condition.
