In the pantheon of all-time NBA greats, Magic Johnson is surely to make the short list of many fans. These Converse All-Star high-tops, size 14 1/2, were worn by Magic himself sometime during his 1983-85 heyday with the Los Angeles Lakers. Each is white leather with purple ankle trim and Converse star on each side and the name “MAGIC” is stamped on inside heel of each in purple. A patch on the tongue reads “Converse All Star, Made in USA,” and each heel bears the signature “Earvin Magic Johnson.” Please note – while MEARS has certified this item as Game Used, PSA was unable to conclusively authenticate the signatures. While the soles are in excellent condition, the sneakers show fairly extensive game wear, with the points of the star logos curling and cracking of the coating on the padding inside each ankle.
