Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts has emerged as one of the premier players in all of baseball. Now being mentioned in the same breath as Mike Trout, Betts’ power surge in 2018 helped lead the Red Sox to their fourth World Series title of the 21st century and then led the Los Angeles Dodgers to their first World Series title since 1988 in 2020. Betts made his Major League debut against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium on June 29th of 2014. Betts collected a single in three at-bats and scored a run to help lead the Red Sox to an 8-5 victory in the Bronx. Betts finished the season playing 52 games, batting .291 with five home runs and 18 RBI. Presented here is a full ticket from the June 29th, 2014 game between the visiting Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
