Miguel Cabrera burst onto the Major League scene in 2003 with the Florida Marlins where he promptly led the Fish to a World Series title. Cabrera wouldn’t make his debut with the Marlins until June 20th, but it was well worth the wait as he not only debuted, but also hit his first career home run – a walk of two run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Marlins a 3-1 victory over their cross-state and interleague rival Tampa Bay Davil Rays. Presented here is a full ticket from the June 20th, 2003 game between the Marlins and Devil Rays played at Pro Player Stadium in Miami. This ticket has an image of Luis Castillo on the front with “LUIS CASTILLO – RECORD 35-GAME HITTING STREAK” printed in white above his image. “MARLINS” in teal is on the left with “VS Tampa Bay Devil Rays Fri, June 20, 2003 7:35” in black below. The Marlins 10th Anniversary logo is also printed on the front. This full ticket has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (45208838) and has been graded a NM 7.
