Elected to the inaugural Major League Baseball Hall of Fame class in 1936 with a 95.13-percent vote --- second only to Ty Cobb --- Babe Ruth remains the biggest name in the sport today. The owner of 714 career home runs to 2,214 career RBI, “The Bambino” redefined baseball with his popularity for over 20 years from 1914-1935. The famed star of the rival Red Sox and Yankees signed this Reach American League baseball in black fountain ink on the sweet spot. The ball has faded manufacturer markings, scratches and scuffs. However, there is no mistaking Ruth’s signature, which is only slightly faded in certain areas. The piece would make for a perfect start to a Ruth collection or bolster an existing one. The signed baseball comes with a JSA LOA.
