Born Giuseppe Paolo DiMaggio to Italian immigrants in Martinez, California on November 25, 1914, “Joltin’ Joe,” made his major league debut with the New York Yankees on May 3, 1936. He batted third in front of Lou Gehrig and connected for two singles and a triple in the Yankees 14-5 romp of the St. Louis Browns.
The great “Yankee Clipper,” signed this 3” x 5” index card elegantly with his long flowing penmanship in black felt tip marker adding a small hash mark underneath his signature. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA GEM MT 10 #83390570.
