This is an intriguing selection of the gloriously extravagant, gold-edged collectibles that accompanied tobacco products during the 1911 season. The array boasts a Cooperstown enshrinee (John McGraw) as well as a Minor League subject (Cady/Newark). The cards' detailed biography/statistic backs feature advertising for such cigarette brands as Piedmont, Hassan and Polar Bear. Overall about PR to GD with a few nicer and a couple trimmed.
