This MLB Authenticated (HZ 518229) Rawlings Alan H. Selig Official Major League ball was used in Derek Jeter’s 2,747th and final major league game on September 28, 2014 between Jeter’s Yankees and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. “The Captain,” went 1-2 that day, notching his 3,465th hit (6th all-time) finishing his 20-year career with a .310 lifetime batting average. The 2006 Rookie of the Year and 14-time American League All-Star Shortstop signed this historic artifact on its sweet spot (grade 10) in blue ball point ink with a “3,465” inscription. Rubbed -down ball shows minimal game use with small smudge of mud on the left side of the signature and comes with Steiner Sports Memorabilia hologram sticker and COA.
