Graded NM+ 7.5 by BGS. Hall of Famer. The 1987 Marketcom issue was conceived as a means to sell multi-sport player posters through advertisements in Sports Illustrated magazine. Buyers could choose a particular player, and order that athlete's card by providing the appropriate four-digit code number. The production's key entry features Michael Jordan, seen here in a remarkably well-preserved state. The card's BGS condition report: Centering: 8.5, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9.5, Surface: 6.5. This is a rookie-era collectible that's regarded by advanced Jordan-collecting hobbyists as comparable in difficulty to spotting a unicorn. Near Mint-plus condition.
