The Ignitor was the greatest player to wear a Milwaukee Brewers uniform. Playing in the infield, outfield or just DH, Molitor found a way to beat the opposition and his grit and determination while playing hurt made him a fan favorite. Molitor made headlines in 1987, one of the seasons this bat dates to, when he hit successfully in 39 straight games posing a serious threat to Joe DiMaggio's famous record. The Cooper H176 bat has a slight handle crack and shows heavy use. Many ball marks with stitch imprints and blue ink transfers cover the barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar is found on the handle. The bat's length "34" and weight "32oz" are stamped into the knob over which Molitor's number "4" is written in black marker. Letter of Authenticity 1B08982 from PSA/DNA who has graded this bat a GU 9.
