Courtney Ledyard, a linebacker from Michigan State, wore this size 48 Nike/Reebok authentic New York Jets white away jersey during the 2000 season. The team tag on the inside back collar has “00-48” with an “X” through it in marker. Nike was the manufacturer for the Jets in 2000 and Reebok took over in 2001. This jersey was most likely used with the Reebok tags during the preseason. Ledyard’s “53” is sewn on in green on the front and back while his number is sewn on in white on the green shoulder pattern. The NFL logo patch is sewn on at the base of the v-neck and “LEDYARD” is sewn on in green on a matching white nameplate. The jersey shows signs of game use with some stains and scuff marks. Ledyard signed inscribed this jersey between the “5” and “3” on the back of the jersey “To Bob” in black marker. Ledyard signature comes with a PSA/DNA sticker only (X97465 – located on the inside tag) and this item also comes with a LOA from noted game used expert Dave Miedema.
