Still revered by many as the game's greatest pitcher, Christy Mathewson still draws considerable attention in the collecting world. Offered is a signed document has no printed date or indication of team affiliation thus leaving the precise year Mathewson signed it a mystery, but a document such as this, calculating insurance rates for a team roster, was clearly executed during Matty's later years most likely as president of the Boston Braves. The 7-1/2" by 8" page features typed line item pricing and closes with the Hall of Fame pitcher's black fountain pen signature in his "C. Mathewson" format.
