Presented is a magnificent collection of President Dwight D. Eisenhower items that include a rare D-Day Orders, a personally owned pen and five strands of his hair. The autographed D-Day Order of the Day sheet measures 6.5” x 9.5" and is signed in black ink, Dwight D. Eisenhower. The signature comes with a full photo LOA from PSA/DNA. The Parker Liquid Lead 5-1/4" pen owned by President Eisenhower, whose initials "D.D.E." are engraved on the black portion of the barrel in silver. Given to his personal secretary, Helen Weaver North, who served Eisenhower from 1951 through 1957, the pen was handed down to her son, David North. LOA for the authenticity of the pen from North accompanies the item. Also included are (5) strands of President Eisenhower's hair, with provenance from the family of the White House barber. Professionally framed and matted, measuring 21" x 20", the frame is a dark-stained wood with olive green, fabric matte and displays minor scratches along the outermost portions of the frame.
