Scrappy second sacker Jose Altuve was named to his second All-Star team in just his third full season in the big leagues. He wore this MLB Authentic (HZ 165581) Wilson A2K infielder’s glove during his four innings in the field at Target Field in Minnesota on July 15, 2014. Altuve signed the outside of the glove’s pinky finger in bright silver sharpie with a “27” inscription, adding “Game Used 2014 All Star Game,” and “2014 AL Batting Champ .341 AVG.” to the outside of the second and third fingers. The two-toned black and tan glove with black leather stitching has Pro- Stock Select A2K1755 branded on the inside thumb. Wilson “W” logo patches are found on the thumb’s outside, and another on the back of the black leather webbing, with a full Wilson name logo patch across the back hand strap. This seriously broken-in glove was obviously used for more than just the All-Star game and displays excellent game use with an A2K logo branded into the well-worn pocket and Wilson name logo branding along the heel.
