Heralded as one of the greatest United States Olympic basketball teams ever assembled, the 1984 squad featured the likes of rising talents Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullin, all led by famed and fiery Indiana University coach Bobby Knight. The team breezed through the competition, going 8-0 en route to a gold medal. This commemorative basketball features all 16 signatures of the players and coaches who made up the Olympic team in varying strength of black sharpie. The list includes Jordan, Ewing, Mullin, Knight, Vern Fleming, Steve Alford, Joe Kleine, Jon Koncak, Sam Perkins, Alvin Robertson, Wayman Tisdale, Jeff Turner, Leon Wood and coaches George Raveling, Don Donoher and C.M. Newton. The basketball features a white two-panel display that reads “1984 UNITED STATES OLYMPIC BASKETBALL TEAM GOLD MEDALISTS.” The team-signed basketball includes a JSA LOA.
