Presented to Miss California 1962 Pamela Jean Gamble for winning that year’s Miss America California State beauty pageant, this statuesque trophy stands 24 inches tall, topped with a figural young lady wearing the symbolic crown. The trophy ornaments finished in a gold tone are mounted to a 4” high walnut base that bears a gold plaque on front adorned with a coin-like emblem representing the Miss America Pageant and engraved to the winner from the 1962 Miss California Pageant. This is a much coveted beauty pageant award from the largest state of the nation that is accompanied with a number of newspaper clippings covering the event and an official program to the 1962 Edition of the Miss America Pageant held in Atlantic City, New Jersey where Ms. Gamble went on to compete in the 35th Miss America Pageant. The Miss America Pageant is the most famous beauty pageant throughout the world having been held annually with few exceptions since 1920 when it was originally called “The Fall Frolic.” Reflecting the beauty of the Pageant’s participants, this is a beautiful trophy that any woman would be proud to display. Comes with a Gotta Have It LOA.
