The Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers all-time leader with 2,040 managerial wins, Walter Alston led his Dodgers squads to five National League pennants and four World Series championships including the team’s memorable first Series victory over the cross-town, cross-league rival New York Yankees in 1955 and also captained the 1959, 1963, and 1965 W.S. champion clubs. Alston was elected to the Hall of Fame by its Veteran’s Committee in 1983 and signed this Rawlings Charles S. Feeney Official National League Ball (grading 8-9) on a side panel in black ball point ink. This clean almost completely white ball is in excellent condition with only slight caramel colored spotting. Comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA.
