Gifted with the coveted five-tool skill set, shortstop Hanley Ramirez rose to Major League Baseball prominence at a young age while playing for the Marlins franchise. Ramirez sported this signed, game-used black button-down Marlins alternate jersey during his first All-Star season in 2008, the same year he picked up a Silver Slugger award. The eye-catching jersey features “MARLINS” across the chest, “RAMIREZ” across the top back and his number “2” on the reverse side all in sparkling silver on black, teal and white tackle twill. Ramirez signed the jersey on his number “2” in bold, black sharpie along with the inscription “Game used 08.” The left sleeve of the jersey boasts a stitched Marlins logo patch, while the front tail is home to a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label” and white strip tag that reads “2 50 08 427.” The signed, game-used jersey shows light evidence of game use and is verified under the MLB Authentication program, number “LH044840.”
