A three-time World Series champion during his 12-year career at second base with the New York Yankees, Bobby Richardson established himself as a postseason hero of sorts for the Bronx Bombers. Richardson, the 1960 World Series MVP, used this signed Adirondack 194X model bat sometime during his 1964-66 run with New York. Richardson, who retired after the 1966 season, closed his career with five consecutive All-Star selections. The un-cracked bat shows strong evidence of game use and features Richardson’s signature in bold, black sharpie on the barrel with the inscription “60 WS MVP.” The flame-burned finish ash bat measures 36 inches and weighs in at 35.3 ounces. The signed, game-used Richardson bat is PSA/DNA authenticated; certification numbers “X90324” and “1B08264.”
